Christopher Scott Oldham

Memorial services for Christopher Oldham will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 31, 2024, at the Carmen Community Church with Pastor John Bizzell officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Wentworth Mortuary, LLC, Carmen. Christopher Scott Oldham was born November 29 , 1964 in Wichita, Kansas to Jim and Marlyn Quick Oldham. He was blessed with additional parents, Nancy Oldham and John Lindal,Jr. Chris passed away at his home surrounded by family on May 24, 2024. Chris was proud of his time as a high school wrestler, bull rider, and was an active member of the volunteer fire department. He had many stories from these years that he loved to share. In fact, he loved to tell a story about any of his experiences and reminisce about the stories of his friends. Chris was a man who showed up when times were hard. Several have recalled how he faithfully visited his friend and his father when they were ill and at the end of their lives. Hard work was a cornerstone of Chris’s life. He worked tirelessly building his own business, Industrial Plus. Several years ago Chris was able to purchase a farm with a lovely home and impressive shop. He was able to share this home with Delta and his family. Chris was so proud of his family, and recently stated that this last year had been one of his very happiest. He was preceded in death by his father, Jim Oldham; his mother and stepfather, Marlyn and John Lindal, Jr.; and one brother Douglas Lindal. Chris is survived by his wife Delta; siblings, James David Oldham II, David Lindal, Marc Lindal, Lori Lindal Pfannestiel, Matthew Oldham, and Ginna Kate Hulett; four children, Tonya Norton, Cody Oldham, Curtis Oldham, and Alejandra Fuentes-Rivas; nine grandchildren Trinitey, Tristyn, Kellen, Carter, Maecyn, Alexis, Adelynn, Jentrie, and Braxton; and numerous nieces and nephews. Christopher Scott Oldham surrounded himself with family and 21-year love of his life, Delta. He lived his life to the fullest and embraced hard work and simple living. With his Oldham/Lindal blended family tree, he loved big and gave his all to those that were close to him. In June of 2023 he shared with his older brother, “Time is precious, don’t waste it.” These are words he lived by. Memorial contributions may be made through the mortuary to the Carmen Community Church.
