Marjorie Ann Link

Funeral services for Marjorie Link will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 17, 2026, at the Marshall Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor John Clapp officiating. Burial will follow in the Alva Municipal Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home of Alva. Marjorie Ann, one of eight children, daughter of Edward Brunell and Gladys Lucille (Neukirch) Link, was born July 8, 1962, at Alva and passed away after a lengthy illness on January 10, 2026, at Alva at the age of 63 years, 6 months and 9 days. Marjorie was raised in Alva where she attended school and graduated from Alva High School with the Class of 1980. She also graduated from Northwestern Oklahoma State University with a degree in Physical Education. She worked several jobs before she began working at WalMart, advancing through the years as a night manager. She continued to work there until her health declined. Her most beloved accomplishment was the birth of her daughter, Hallie Rashelle, in 1994. She enjoyed experiencing OU sports with her daughter, taking her to many OU girls softball games. She also loved watching OU football and basketball. Marjorie attended the Hopeton Church for the last several years. Besides her parents, Edward and Gladys, she was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Hallie Link; her sisters, Carolyn Longhurst and Jarilyn Link; and nephews, Drew Longhurst and Brian Link. Marjorie is survived by her sisters, Lola Heydman of Alva, Mary Hoover and her husband, Johnnie, of Forgan, Marilyn Johnson of Salina, Kansas, and Gladys Link of Amarillo, Texas; her brother, Fred Link and wife, Janice, of Boise City, Idaho. Also surviving are nieces and nephews, Shawn Longhurst and his children, Josh Longhurst, Lindsay Jackson, and Landon Longhurst, Margie Hoover and her children, Devin Hoover, Cody-Lyn and Haleigh Richardson, and grandson, Asher, Mike Hoover and his children, Christian Burton and Gabriel Hoover, Jason Hoover, Kenda (Donnovan) Smith and son, Conner Smith, Sallye (Ricky) Davidson and children, Chancie and Shelby Davison, Amanda Scheffler and her children, Terek Sutton and Jaden Scheffler, Timori (Jeramie) Bradford and children, Ashton and Jaxson Ferrell, Andon and Ashlie Bradford, John (Mindy) Johnson and children, Allen and Cameron Johnson, and Scott (Alissa) Johnson and children, Tylor and Savanna; other relatives and friends. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the funeral home.
