Interment will be in the Waynoka Municipal Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home. Bobby Leo Sutherland, son of Susie (Inman) Sutherland and the late Leo Sutherland, was born July 1, 1949, in Mooreland, Oklahoma, and passed away September 24, 2019, at Enid, Oklahoma, at the age of 70 years, 2 months, and 23 days. Bobby went to Cheyenne Valley School through the 8th grade and graduated from Waynoka High School with the Class of 1967. On September 2, 1967, he was united in marriage to Larinda Gayle Secrest in Waynoka, Oklahoma. After high school, the couple moved to Oklahoma City so Bobby could attend barber school. He worked as a barber for 11 years in the Woodward area before deciding to return to Waynoka. Bobby engaged in ranching and operated an outfitter service. Bobby was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting as well as fishing. He had the greenest thumb around when it came to gardening, and the only thing he loved more than all of this was being with his family. The crimson and cream he always wore gave away his stance as the Oklahoma Sooner’s number one fan, but he still bragged on those of his loved ones who wore orange and black. In fact, one of his hobbies was encouraging. He was always ready to praise someone, whether it be to their face or to others around him throughout the day. When he spoke, Bobby’s sense of humor often kept everyone on their toes- nobody could predict what the comedian might say. He was the kind of person who could make you feel loved, reminisce on old times, double-over with laughter, and learn something new about life all in one sitting. Besides his father, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Gayle. Bobby is survived by his three daughters, Lori Adair and husband, Jay, of Waynoka, Tambi Brown and husband, Billy, of Enid, and Cassi Bouziden and husband, Mitchell, ofWaynoka; his mother, Susie Sutherland of Woodward; his sister, Connie Redgate and husband, Steve, of Waynoka; and five grandchildren, Jake Adair, of Waynoka, Taggart Brown, Brenli Brown, and Taelyn Brown, of Stillwater, and Temperance Bouziden, of Waynoka; other relatives and friends. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the funeral home.
