Edith Tate

September 27, 1920 - July 23, 2017

Edith Tate, daughter of the late Harry Presley and Effie Mae (Smith) Cropp, was born September 27, 1920, at Hopeton, Oklahoma, and passed away July 23, 2017, at Alva, Oklahoma, at the age of 96 years. She was cremated under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home of Alva and no service is planned at this time. Edith married Howard Denvil Tate and they lived in Alva where they operated a dry cleaning business. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. She is survived by a son, Greg Tate; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
