Vickie Ophelia Harmon

September 22, 1952 - February 16, 2018

Vickie Harmon got the last word on Friday and as much as anyone who knew her over her time in Alva might think it had to be something ornery, it was, in fact, “I love you, too.” On her behalf, her surviving family would like to extend that sentiment to all those that made her life in Alva so special. Memorial services for Vickie Harmon will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 23, 2018, at the Marshall Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chris Ruwaldt, pastor of the Alva First Baptist Church, officiating. She was cremated at her request under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home. Vickie Ophelia Harmon, daughter of Fred Woodard and Miquelita Rodriguez was born September 22, 1952, at Laramie, Wyoming, and passed away February 16, 2018, at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 65 years, 4 months and 25 days. She lived in Ft. Collins, Colorado before moving to Alva in 2013. She was a medical records clerk at Share Medical Center. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rayburn and her step-daughter, Judy. Vickie is survived by a son, Jeremy Harmon of Portland, Oregon; a daughter, Amanda Harmon of Poudre Canyon, Colorado; one brother, Robert Woodard of Ft. Collins, Colorado; three sisters, Nedra Kechter of Alva, Amelia Cordova of Laporte, Colorado, Lynne Logsdon of Lancaster, Ohio; five grandchildren, Kaio Harmon, Silas Glass, Alia Harmon, Jenny Glass, and Wyatt Lafevre; other relatives and friends. Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to Wounded Warrior Project or Share Medical Center. .
